Built in 1855, the Thomas Mill Covered Bridge is an 85 foot long Howe-truss single span covered bridge located about 1/2 mile from Bell's Mill Road in Wissahickon Valley Park. It is the only remaining covered bridge in Philadelphia and is the only covered bridge in a major US city.
